Our Services-2.png

We’re proud to work alongside a growing network of trusted organisations, professionals and services who share our commitment to improving outcomes for SEND children, young people and their families.

We know that no two families are the same, and that SEND support often involves navigating a number of different services and professionals. That’s why we value building strong relationships with our partners, who bring their own specialist knowledge, experience and expertise. Our partnerships help us connect families with trusted support and useful resources, while also giving us the opportunity to work collaboratively and share knowledge across the SEND community.

We only partner with organisations and professionals whose approach aligns with our values and our commitment to putting children, young people and families at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to be able to recommend and signpost families towards services we know and trust, alongside the independent SEND advocacy support we provide ourselves.

Our partnerships are an important part of what we’re building at SEND Parents in Power, and we’re excited to continue working with organisations who are passionate about making a real difference for SEND families.

CATS

We’re delighted to have Community Assessment Therapy Services (CATS) as one of our partners. CATS is a CQC registered multidisciplinary team specialising in neurodevelopmental assessment, therapy and support for children, young people and their families.

Their experienced team includes psychologists, paediatricians, neurodevelopmental

specialists and therapists, bringing together a wide range of professional expertise.

CATS specialises in Autism and ADHD assessments, as well as developmental delay, FASD and other areas of neurodevelopment. Alongside their assessment services, they offer a wide range of specialist therapies and support, helping families access the expertise they need beyond the assessment itself.

CATS also provide specialist training, sharing their knowledge and experience with professionals, schools and others working with children and young people. Their work extends beyond individual assessments, helping to improve understanding of neurodevelopment and the support available to children and families.

A key part of CATS’ approach is recognising that every person is unique. They work with families, schools and clinicians outside of their team to bring together information and different perspectives, helping to build a fuller picture of a child’s strengths, challenges and individual needs.

We’re really pleased to be working alongside CATS and to have them as part of our growing network of trusted partners.

We’re looking forward to developing our partnership further and helping more SEND families connect with specialist assessment, therapy, training and support.
